Accessibility
This site should work for everyone.
We build this website to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the widely used accessibility standard. That is the target we work to and test against. This page tells you honestly what has been checked, what has not, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.
How the site is built
- Every page is complete, readable HTML. Nothing requires JavaScript to read, navigate or send an enquiry.
- Each page has one main content area, a "skip to content" link and headings in reading order.
- Links are underlined in text, so they do not rely on colour alone.
- Every button, link and form field shows a clear focus outline when you use a keyboard.
- Form labels are always visible, and required fields say so in the label.
- Pages reflow to narrow screens and stay usable at 200% zoom. Animation is limited to short transitions and is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
What has been tested
Automated accessibility checks run every time the site is built and block a release if they find a critical problem. Automated tools only catch part of what matters, so we treat a clean result as a starting point, not a finish line.
What has not been tested yet
- A full manual check with screen readers (VoiceOver on Safari and NVDA on Windows) across every page and every state of the enquiry form.
- The enquiry form's error, busy and unavailable states, because the service that receives enquiries is not live yet.
Known limitations
- The enquiry form does not yet check your answers before you send. Until the receiving service is live, your browser's own required-field prompts are what you will see.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us through the enquiry form and mention that it is an accessibility problem. Let us know the page, what happened, and your browser and any assistive technology if you can. A real person reads every message, and we would much rather hear about it than not.
